"Because I’m from out of state, I didn’t know many people when I arrived at the University. I’ve made lifelong friends who have similar interests while participating in activities outside the classroom. Attending campus events taught me more about current issues facing WVU, the state and the country and that I have a voice to make lasting change.

My on-campus activities led me to realizing what I want to do the rest of my life. I was never quite sure until getting involved showed me that I want to help students while they are in college. During my time at WVU, I’ve seen lasting changes that I’ve made on campus and in others’ lives, and I want to continue making a difference.”
