"Being a part of Project 168 has allowed me to immerse myself in a wide range of experiences across the university. The program not only promotes a well-rounded education but also helps you discover your identity within a large university setting. The recognition I’ve received for participating in various opportunities has already contributed to securing an internship, which is invaluable for my career development. As an out-of-state student, Project 168 has been instrumental in connecting me with organizations that align with my passions. For example, my involvement in MountaineerTHON has allowed me to collaborate with like-minded individuals to make a meaningful impact on children's health at WVU Medicine Children. Through this program, I've embraced and learned about the unique culture of West Virginia University and the state itself. Project 168 has truly enriched my college experience, providing me with skills and connections that I will carry with me long after graduation."
