Coming from a small town in West Virginia and as a first-generation college student, I was anxious to attend a large school. After participating in activities around campus, I’ve come to see WVU as a second home and made incredible friends. Project 168 has introduced me to different events and offices on campus that have taken me out of my comfort zone and expanded my knowledge of various viewpoints. I’ve learned more about myself and my surroundings through different activities and projects. I plan on attending graduate school at WVU and the co-curricular transcript will be able to show my participation and achievements outside of the classroom.
